For the complete beginner who has never picked a mushroom to the intermediate forager.

This course is held with our partner Getnö Gård, in a stunningly beautiful woodland archipelago in the midle of Lake Åsnen national park or can be arranged privately at other Småland locations.

Open courses also now available at our partners Asa Herrgård and Osaby Herrgård but do check the language

The afternoon course covers

Introduction to mycology
Where and when to look for mushrooms
Identification of the easiest mushrooms to start picking with focus on those without dangerous look-alikes
Basic techniques - picking, cleaning, storing
Cooking techniques including practical demonstration and tasting of the days catch
